For local residents we offer coffee beans in reusable mason jars to help minimize waste. We deliver for a small fee within a 10 mile radius of Golden and have drop off locations for anyone further away.

The Coffee
At Golden Garage Coffee Roaster, we are dedicated to sourcing the finest coffee beans and roasting them to perfection. Our commitment to quality and sustainability drives us to deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. With a focus on craftsmanship and flavor, we aim to elevate your coffee journey with every sip. We roast our coffee in small batches (one to two pounds at a time), watching and listening to each roast for its unique development. No two roasts are exactly the same, but every roast has a full-bodied flavor brought out by the smaller batch process.

Jacob and Krista ​

In 2016, Krista started reading about roasting coffee at home and looking to pick up a hobby. After watching her do this research for months, Jacob bought her some green coffee beans to nudge her into giving it a try. In their small rental house in Denver, Krista tried roasting these beans in a cast iron pan in a very hot oven. It worked! The house was smoky, and it was hard to keep the beans moving while not opening the oven very often. Krista was hooked on figuring out how to roast coffee well. She graduated to a small air roaster on their deck in Golden and now uses a drum roaster allowing for significantly larger batches, yet still quite small compared to those with big roasters. She has roasted in their garage for several years, sharing coffee with neighbors, families, and friends who have all offered great feedback to aid in her learning.
Today, we are roasting out of a small food trailer, which allows us to produce more with low overhead. We will work hard to keep prices low and the coffee flavorful. We can’t wait for you to try our roasts!
